I find the best thing to do in the event of a burnout is to play another game, preferably something of a totally different genre. For example if I’m burning out on an MMO, I’ll go play an FPS for a bit, or a strategy game. Your brain needs stimulation, when the game stops being stimulating, you have to try something else. When you come back then you’ll be refreshed.

And of course I don’t mean quit playing GW2 all together. I mean just play something else for a few hours and come back. Usually works for me.

I fail to see your meaning here, or why you said that. Clarification please?

Breaks are needed anywhere you spend much time on. You can’t eat your favourite food for two week without getting tired of it. Eat something else for a day or two, and your favourite food will taste awesome again.

Breaks are fine but the lack or rewards and content wont help breaks until it is fixed, i do agree GW2 is very repetitive, i try to limit my playing to a short time or i get bored asap which for a mmo to me is bad..

You do realize a lot really don’t like any sort of PvP at all, i would get bored in wvw and especially spvp in a third of the time than i do in PvE and i must say WvW and sPvP are some of the most repetitive things i’ve ever tried in an mmo.
