this game is so empty...
If you are in NA, TC is busy.
Tarnished Coast
i covered that in my post…..i dont know the busy servers and it does not tell me
Edited to be more helpful.

that may help ME specifically but not the player base as a whole
Teq is done. Well, on higher pop servers at least. Though on weekdays he tends to only get done right after server reset. You can tell which servers are highly populated by looking at WvW standings. Gold and Silver league servers tend to have higher populations, especially Gold.
make players and events visible on the map from farther away, currently only dead players show up on the map, thats useless i wana see live players
I’d like to at least see friends and guildies. But I think the minimap/normal map is too important, with regards to clicking waypoints. So, if all players were going to be displayed on our maps, I’d like it so WP’s took priority and overlapped them.
I do agree. Especially since so much emphasis is placed on the event system to level. It’s kind of embarrassing when u think about it…essentially if you level now you will miss out on their premier content. And be stuck with the content they think is inferior; the traditional quests (hearts).
Move to a better server. That’s definitely not my experience. (I’m on Tarnished Coast)
Tequatl is getting down several times per day on my server. Upto 6 times a day to be specific.
Making him easier would make him even more boring for our server. We rarely finish with less than 6-8 minutes to spare. We do him with randoms btw, so its not rocket science to do him.

They can’t shut down servers because that would ruin the WvW.
What they can do is develop some sort of cross realm zone similar to the CRZ system in WoW.
In my server The whole world is pretty empty except for champ trains and people doing achievements in Kessex hills and Lions arch, it is listed as “Very high” population but that is only in reference to the number of accounts registered on the server and not active users.
It would not ruin WvW if they would close 3 servers at the time until only 3 are left.
If you separated your WvW server choice, from the server you PvE’d on it’d solve loads of issues including this one.
Say on logon you choose a WvWs server to be loyal to. You’d then have exactly the same limitations as now(cost gems to change loyalty, 7 day cooldown etc etc).
Then just allow free server transfers wherever and whenever you like, without impacting WvW.
Economy issues could be solved by only allowing harvesting on your loyal server.
Even better, all the mechanisms for doing this are already in place. Only the loyalty server part(could probably be done mostly in the database) would need to be coded.
By doing this you’d allow cross region play, allow empty servers to be merged and generally get people together more.

Just moved servers to one higher in WvW standings and boy is it ten times better. Organized Teq kills, constant Balthazar runs, players in Orr just in general (gasp). IMO, they need to find a way to fix the server population indicators. It’s completely useless to have only two labels ("High"vs"Very High"), especially when those labels don’t take account activity into consideration. My old server is marked as “High” but there’s hardly anyone in LA and my old maxed-out guild had a seemingly endless list of inactive individuals (a story I heard from multiple people in LA when I’d engage them about why they’re looking for a new guild/why they were about to bounce to a bigger server).
As a side note, it’d also be great for the guild roll to show not only members’ names, but also something about their frequency of play/last log in.
Basically: you need to switch servers. I don’t like it, I did it as a last resort because my server was deaaad, but it’s the only real solution I can see atm if you’re anything above a casual.
you do realize you don’t have to do Dynamic Events in order to get Map Completion, right?

delete unwanted dead content….seriously tequal is still there….thats sad
This is crazy… don’t give ArenaNet a reason to make an already small and short lived “Living Story” content and the the like to make this game even smaller.
Your other points however are noted.
Thing is, because of the (I don’t often call stuff this) kittened way guilds are fixed to servers, moving servers isn’t much of an answer.
If you wanted to move a guild to another server, basically you lose everything. Influence, guild bank, guild mission unlocks… everything.
I think that the game should have the same system as gw1,so maps are divided into districts(kinda like overflows) which are region wide, this would make the maps a lot more lively and improve the atmosphere of the game, keep the worlds/servers only for wvw.
Another thing they should add is an actual player count(a lot of the servers that are high population are mostly ghost towns).
Actually, it’s a problem that is prevalent in a lot of games. Once the initial rush to level cap is over, most of what you will find are farmers, certain events, and hub parties where everyone hangs out and waits for (X) to pop.
Good luck in whatever server you go to, but if you want to do specific events, guesting is the way to go. Especially if transferring isn’t feasible.
The only true solution for having players in all the zones, though, is to make them worth revisiting after level cap. Right now, there are woefully inadequate reasons to go back.
Good luck to you!
FYI all servers were VERY HIGH yesterday during the nighttime (NA).
Server statuses are messed up.
1. Crystal Desert server, last night waiting for the Hydra Queen (Taidha Covington) (9:30pm PST)
2. [TTS] Tequatl T-World Squad in Southsun Cove for the Karka Queen, around 11:30pm PST (server time)
Dead?
Next time show tags.
Same guild.
