So i was getting ripped apart in a map today cause there must of been a story mission starting point that was glitched… it was in this spot that i couldnt get to and when i asked for help everyone in chat called me names and telling me i was just trolling. i ended up finding out it was a glitch, but it just shows how toxic the community really is…

its really sad when someone cant even ask in map chat for help without being called names…

I think I would have preferred to see a shot of the chat than the map. The map didn’t tell me anything, but the chat would have showed what you asked and what they said. So as to back up your assertion.

Was doing that earlier today myself and spent a good 10min trying to get to that seemingly impossible green marker, then read the description and saw that it told me to go to Silverwastes.

But you’re right about the community sometimes being extremely toxic, well not the community but perhaps more to do with certain individuals being online at that time.
Some people just want to watch the world burn.

Yeah. That’s a bug that shows up sometimes. There was a “portal” there during Halloween. The game can still see it and thinks it’s available for you to travel through. You have to go closer to where the instance is to get a correct message of which portal to take.

Sorry no one who knew what was going on was able to answer you, and nicely.

As far as I can see that’s only two people. Not exactly something I would call the whole community. There’s always bad apples among the crowd, as sad as it is.

Also, you might wanna edit the names out? Forum rules don’t like naming people I think.

So, I see one guy thinking that you’re trolling because you don’t know better and one random helping you out with something.

How is this proving that the community is toxic? You know based on this post, it could be inferred that you’re trying to start something over nothing.

In this thread alone several people are explaining the issue and one is apologizing on behalf of another person.
