as almost everybody i love updates (i hate expansions in mmorgs though…) in any case, aren’t we getting too many “frequent” updates lately?

I know that they’re doing the beta weekends and so on, but downloading a 500mb patch every 3 days is not that pretty when your internet s***s,

since the new trait system in hmm May? anet’s been releasing too many “heavy” patches frequently (seriously, last month i gave up and ended up not login in for like 3 weeks)

Wouldn’t it be better a monthly “patch bundle” instead? or release their updates together with the expansion? i’m not interested in these beta events, but still gotta download almost 2gb per week ;/

waku waku?

2gb per week, are we playing the same game?

Id rather have more frequent updates whether it being minor bug fixes or more content then having to wait another month for a patch.

Agreed.
I come home to play a bit in lunch but no another d/l.
Not on unlimited download and slow broadband here in Australia.

There was one update and two patches, to fix bugs with pvp from the original update. Would you prefer that they leave the bugs in? (Of course, we would all prefer that there were fewer bugs; when there are, though, what do you expect ANet to do?)

The download in Tasmania took me a couple of minutes. No idea what you’re download limit is, but I’m on a pretty high plan.

The thing is, the bugs have to be fixed and if they weren’t, then Anet would have far more people complaining about that, than complaining about this.
