I’m sure there are many posts on this subject already, but I guess I’ll add to that list in hope that something will actually happen. Why are there no raids? Why is there no 1v1, 2v2 etc. arena? Why is there no dueling? Why can’t I inspect other players? Some of my favorite features in many MMORPGs. Make it happen people lol. Cheers.

No raids because they wanted the big epic fights to happen in the open world.

As for inspect, I’d personally wouldn’t want it because of Elitism. There’s enough of that now as it is.

The door is ajar.

Raids are stupid and artificial in difficulty.
Rather than requiring more teamwork they actually require less.
The average players performs less and becomes less vital the bigger the group becomes.

1v1 and 2v2 are not in the game because the game is not balanced around such encounters.

There’s no inspection feature so that I can sneak into dungeon groups with magic find gear.

The lack of dueling however is a bit weird as it’s the best way to teach other players to counter a class.

All this exactly

Also raids are best left in the open world. It’s a better showcase for large epic fights

you have raids…are called temples and map bosses such dragons, the difference is you dont need to schedule/camp and hold hands with who ever is around, go and ask them to buff them even more or make them harder if want.

if you mean instanced raids…theres is absolutely no difference to what you have right now aka ‘’the dungeons’’ except the party size.

there is no dueling because the philosophy is ‘’everyone is my friend’’ thought spvp and wvw just in case…but since are ’’instances’’ make it like three mini games in one, pve, wvw and spvp, dueling and open world pvp are like a taboo words for some people around here.

you cant inspect because they know you will kick people if they arent wearing what you are asking for the dungeon, and since the philosophy is ‘’everyone is my friend’’ they dont want that ’’grief’’

I took an arrow to the knee
