It was released on the 28th August 2012. It won’t be 2 years old for another week and a half and they probably won’t announce what they’re doing (if anything) until just before then.

I’m pretty sure I got mine on the 25th. Although, my memory never was the best. I guess we’ll see in a few days.

I have a character turning 2 on the 25th, 27th, and 28th if I recall correctly. (I actually just went through and calculated all 25 characters’ birthdays and added them to my excel sheet last night lol)

Perhaps your anguish is just a day early. Pre-release announcements usually come one week (Tuesdays) before.

By the way, did you check out the birthday NPC in Lion’s Arch? At the moment all she can give you is a title and a achievement but that certainly indicates they have something planned.

I think the only thing they said about birthdays was that characters would have them. That’s about all I recall, just a confirmation.

I guess I either managed to miss the announcements (or completely forgot about them) lol, or they were a site I don’t read (the interviews).

But they did put up that NPC which makes me really curious about what her function will be. I’m speculating maybe she will accept birthday tokens for items. Maybe they will drop ingame or by quest and you get stuff from her with them. ^^
