seems like everyone has gotten theirs….. I’, still waiting to get one

Got mine when I logged in this morning before going to work.

Got me quaggan backpiece, but I didn’t spend enough for the mini, so… I’d say if you don’t get any mail by tonight, you might pop in a ticket for it.

They said that if you haven’t gotten them by the end of Thursday (Pacific time, GMT -8) you should contact support.

Annoyingly I had to go to bed not long after they started sending them so I have to wait until I get home from work tonight before I get mine.

Got mine last night, they did a nice job on Mr Sparkles…..he is almost as tall as my Asura, a massive mini.

Can anyone explain the mini thing to me? I got this because of gem purchases but I’ve never used a mini. How do they work? Is it a one time only thing? Can you use it over and over? Like, I have 2 of one kind, account bound of course. Is the 2nd one any good? Is it bound to the character that opens it?

As far as I know they are account bound, can be used by any of your toons, they just follow you around and look cute, can be used over and over but will go home (storage) when you WP or change zones, or when you deposit collectables, not a lot of purpose other than the cute factor at the moment but that is JMHO

Oh yea…there are minis that are not account bound that you can get that can be bought and sold on the TP, there also is AP’s for completing a collection.

Got mine late yesterday, thank-you ArenaNet for making a great game that I’m proud to support.

You get it if you bought 4,000 (or more) gems with real money between 1st and 31st December 2013.

As for how the mini works it’s an item that sits in your inventory (or in the collectables tab in the bank). If you double click it then it will appear standing next to your character and follow you around the world.

They are re-usable and either account bound or tradeable (in other words never soulbound). But don’t delete it because if you do then you can’t get it back.

It was a special for the month of December. If you purchased 4,000 gems total in that month, you get a Mini Mr. Sparkles. The purchase of 800 gems gained you a green quaggan backpack.

ETA: Haha, looks like I was beaten to the answer. Oh well :)

They’re sending out mails over a few days. If you spent enough real money on virtual items you don’t need, you’ll get your Quaggan backpack (just dyed green) in the mail. Make sure you have room though.
