So I was picking out new runes for my guardian and I came across this one and I thought..
why.. would anyone want the sixth rune if all it does is give you a negative effect. You’re better of with 5 scrapper runes and 1 rune of something else..

Or did I miss something? Is this a rune for people looking to hardcore?

At first I thought it meant ‘damaged reduction from enemies within 500 radius’
but the choise of words are similar to other runes that talk about the wielder

The phrasing may be confusing, but Balthazzarr is correct. The effect is that you take 7% less damage when within 600 units of an enemy.

That’s damage to YOU

And Hoelbrak runes give -20% condi duration applied on you which must means it apply on your condition duration stat. I think.

You TAKE 7% less damage, you don’t DO 7% less damage

It’s only effective if you close on an enemy rather than plinking them at range.

Here’s another weird one.It has Rune of the Earth Marking but no stats. Kept it as an oddity that I’m really not sure what to do with.
