You see prices like that every now and then for completely worthless items, possibly as a trap for people not paying attention or the person putting it up for sale was really drunk.

When an item has really low supply people will list very high in hopes some fool will buy it. I got 3 medium thorned bags once and when I was going to sell them, there were only 3 for sale and were listed at 40 gold each.
