Somewhere between 3 hours and 8 hours before reset.
Tomorrow? Likely between 8a and 5p PDT but I’ll wager before noon PDT. Unless the last sanity check of the client/server changes catch on fire.

Let me ask you this. I’m on the west coast in the US. If I leave for work in the morning and I stayed logged into Guild Wars 2 under the character selection menu, will my Guild Wars 2 launcher (or whatever the correct term for it is called) automatically update while I’m gone? Or will I have to re-log and download the patch when I get back home from work?
its usually the same time the gem store gets updated, i believe.

I’m also curious if not logging out affects your reset since I never log out. I never even turn the computer off.
You’d eventually get kicked to the launcher due to a new build being available.
I bet it would update if you get kicked to character select. However, staying logged on and in game without playing means you will need to bypass the automatic kick from the game after X minutes of not doing anything. In theory, this could get your account in trouble if caught. In actuality probably nothing would happen but you might want to keep that in mind and find a secluded spot, perhaps your home instance.
