Hi guys

I loved the halloween event; was cool to participate but for important matters, I was not able to finish the various events.

Now I have the bag full of candies and other ingredients found in that period (which does not go in the bank when I do “deposit collectibles”, so I am stuck with them).

Also I have 4 of the memories, and cannot get the last 2 to complete the book.

Should I just throw away everything, since they are useless now? Is there any use in keeping them?

In other games, when an event ends you can use them for the next year, but I haven’t heard anything like this, so I am not sure if I should in fact keep these items or just dump them to make space.

Any official/unofficial words?

In GW1, things like candy came back every year – so I’m just saving it. You can also sell them on the trading post if you want. The books… maybe you can use them on alts?

Candies in the worst case may be used just as consumable, not sure about the other food ingredients.

I have just the memories, not the book, the only option that I see is destroy, and merchants does not see them.

I say get rid of the memories. I don’t think it’s likely ANet will repeat this quest in the future at the risk of player backlash about reusing old content. Chances are good that the candy corn and other ingridients will make a comeback though. The recipes are now out there, and they’ll be just as valid next year as this year, even if new recipes/ingridients will be added.

I sold all my candy corn. Was only collecting it for the achievements.

Should we keep the candy corn matter meter?

I destroyed my matter meter, on the theory that if we need it again, we’ll be given it again
