when do patches typically come out?
Anet does a good job with patching their games every day… even several times a day.
The way they patch their games is amazing.

Why are you even gonna delete your thief just because it get’s nerfed? You play a proffesion because you like the playstyle not because everyone says it’s better than another class. Also you have 5 character slots so why delete your olld character?
I’ve been contemplating deleting my thief for awhile now anyways… I wanted to play thief as P/P or SB at least… basically I wanted a ranged character… but they are so terrible ranged that it’s not even funny… so I was pigeonholed to play backstab even though I didn’t really want to… now if they nerf backstab I will have no reason to even have a thief and should just focus on a ranger who will hopefully get a buff… That’s my rationale… anyways… so when will the patch happen most likely?
They don’t have a set schedule for patches — they come out whenever.

They usually through out a patch on mondays. Not always.
I see… so its typically on mondays but no set time… wonder when they will release this patch… its past 4pm EST already so I doubt we’ll get it today but wonder when it might actually be out…
The next scheduled content patch is on the 15th of November.
Aside from that they seem to apply bug-fix/bug-implementation patches every Tuesday.
Occasionally we’ll have a few hotfixes too like we did during the Halloween Event.

rofl… so true Marked.One… I hate gamers these days… I don’t think they would cut it back in the day of no save points for an hour, no health regeneration after combat is over and the games being ACTUALLY hard… these days people just whine till it’s no longer a game and rather a giant cinematic…
