Are you sure it’s entitlement? They have made quite the habit of doing a patch every two weeks lately, I’m sure lots of people were expecting one today as part of that pattern. And when you know something’s coming, and it oddly doesn’t, it can throw you off. You’re just waiting for it, knowing that as soon as you accept that it’s not coming, it’ll arrive.
I know there’s good reason for them to not have a small patch just two weeks before their big one, but it still threw me off when I got home today and found no patch notes waiting to be read. If I had been home during the day, I’m sure I would have kept wondering when that yellow text would pop up in the game telling me that I’m going to have to patch soon.

It’s not entitlement, just a case where the maths and past experience with end of PvP seasons suggested that a major patch would drop today. Of course suggestion gets transformed into assured fact and now it’s yet another broken promise and a sign that PvE will now only be raids and revamped fractals … yada yada yada.

It’s not entitlement at all. I also wondered why there was not a patch. We tend to get one almost every fortnight, some big some small. I hadn’t seen the news article because I “auto” login, and now having read the news article it says nothing about not getting a patch this week, just that there will be a big patch and LS3 on the 26th.
Maybe walk a mile in the other fella’s shoes before jumping to conclusions…
It was once delayed and released on wednesday, so there is still a hope for final cliffhanger event
