That moment when you decide you want to craft a legendary and start to weep because you’ll have to play WvW, but then discover an old Gift of Battle lying about in your stash.

Nice, I wish I had known they were going to change it so I could be in the same boat.

I’m not a big fan of WvW but it’s never bothered me that much, even when you used to have to do map completion there to get the Gift of Exploration.

The bit that seems to take me the longest is the dungeon tokens. I can and will do dungeons, but for me (lacking the build, skill or inclination to be a speed runner and with limited time to play) it’s a big time commitment, so I end up doing them maybe once a week, twice a week if I’m really making an effort.

This is why both times I’ve decided to make a legendary my first step was to make a spreadsheet to track all the stuff I’d need. That way I can plan ahead and start working on the stuff I know is going to take me a long time well in advance of when I’ll need it. (Or simply save up materials as I get them, if it’s something I can get through normal play.)

A spreadsheet is a great idea, I pretty much just keep the wiki page open and go from there.
