Guild Wars 2

Just downloaded the game and would like some input on which profession to choose.

I usually go with melee, but really enjoy playing magic ones as well. I am not fond of pets :-)

I prefer some variety, so professions where there is really only one or two skills that are good are not that interesting.

pros and cons for difference professions especially given this is still a new release – thanks.

Try out a few different ones you can always delete and try again if you find one you don’t like.
