Hi people – which world should I choose bearing in mind im from the uk

I’m English and wouldn’t go back to an EU server if you paid me.

Tarnished Coast if you like to roleplay, or Dragonbrand for general friendliness would be my choices. Bear in mind that you may need to wait till early morning US time to be able to get onto either if they are full.

Desolation ftw!

Most the EU servers are full of people refusing to speak English in Map chat. For that reason, go join a US server because unless you speak multiple of the eastern European languages, you’re in for a hard time.

Not to mention any EU overflows & Dungeon LFG will be full of French/German/Spanish speaking only players from those official language servers.

I’m a Brit and Far Shiverpeaks is fine for me, though I won’t lie and say I wasn’t tempted to roll over on Tarnished Coast.

I’m on Gunnar’s Hold and while you see some mix of language in the mapchat, mainly in LA (pre EfLA) english is easily the prevailing language by a vast margin.

Im on Desolation and its a brilliant server. Pretty much everyone speaks English, and I enjoy a mix of languages every now and then. Im from the UK too and love the server. Great WvW presence also.
