Guild Leader of Aegis Shield [AS]-Tarnished Coast
Mjor of [CrSy] Cryptisyndicate
im just wondering for fun who has the most gold and/or karma in this game
post snapshots of your wealth
I would have to say probably that one asura in LA who says something about selling some lame item for 20 gold “when it was only worth 10 gold the day before”. That scamp must be mega mega rich.
Whoever runs the trading post. I mean 15% (?) of every financial transaction in the world is HUGE.
Scarlet, of course.
see NPC in bank in Divinity’s: “I’m rich you know.”
Zommoros, where do you think all those exotics go?
you havent seen the picture of the 5 warrior bots in HotW? he had 300k gold
thats not a bot that was a where when you made a new build you gained a huge ammount of gold
Last year I remember a player named Skady Valda from SoR who had something like 8 legendaries. I don’t know how much gold he has, however. He’s the richest one I know.
The pirates running the barge beneath the mystic forge.

i recently bothered to look at the NPCs having that conversation and was horrified to see that the asura was actually a skritt
which is why buddy says no offense after he calls the city council skrittheads
i’ve been trying to deny it ever since

IIRC, it is something like:
“So, how much can I do you for?”
“20 gold for centaur spearheads”
“20? Yesterday they were 10!”
“Today, 20.”
Also, I believe it is a Skritt, because if I again recall correctly,
“You can’t believe the Skritt-heads I have to deal with day-in and day-out. No offense.”
and
“If one more farmer tries to sell me rotten vegetables, I’ll scream. More stone-carvings?”
“No.”
Hmm, I spend a lot of time there, come to think of it.
The real question is, of course, how it could ever be 10 the day before, when yesterday they said exactly the same thing.
But to answer the question: Evon Gnashblade, without a doubt.

Well I stand corrected to both of you who pointed this out. But either way, 20 gold for spearheads! I knew it was an outrageous price for some silly item! Now, this just makes my tag all the more ftw!!

The people in the precursor market are the richest people in the game. One of my friends linked the dozens of precursor he had crafted. He someone could have ~10k gold and I would not be surprised. He was only selling them one at a time even though he had like 3-6 of everything but the legend(very hard to craft with random rares). You need ~1000g to even break into the precursor market, since it takes ~250 attempts per precursor according to him. Still that does not mean you will get a precursor that is worthwhile to sell. 17 legendaries is the most someone should have (1 a month). 11 was the most I have seen on someone.
Good idea, let me just post a screenshot of how much gold I have so I’m more prone to getting my account hacked.

IIRC, it is something like:
“So, what good are you?”
“Pay 20 gold for centaur spearheads”
“20? Yesterday they were 10!”
“Today, 20.”
Also, I believe it is a Skritt, because if I again recall correctly,
“I’ll tell you what, if I get one more farmer trying to sell me rotten vegetables, I’ll scream. You got any Charr-iron”
“Tsk, no.”
and
“You can’t believe the morons I have to deal with day-in and day-out. More stone-carvings?”

Fixed for you. Spending time in there is well and good, but nothing if you don’t pay attention to the details. They’re like movie quotes that stick in my mind.
Back on-topic, I don’t know of any real rich people, but wealth can’t be found in the items you carry. You’d have had to spend that much to get the item, which means you’re now out-of-pocket by that much instead of being rich. Strictly monetarily-speaking, ie. if you go by how much gold you have. I’ve seen some people hoard 10’s of thousands of gold and not use it on anything but the necessities.
