why is ascended weapons soulbound?
It should be able to be sold on the trading post so other people who don’t want to bother with the boring crafting can get ascended weapons too.
Agreed, i’m not going to waste a ton of gold just to get one of my toons to 500 crafting JUST to make that one toon a weapon. its stupid.
wait what? you craft it with one char, it is only useable for that one char?
They aren’t soulbound, they are accountbound.

Personally, I am happy they’re bound. It’s bad enough that legendaries are (insert unreal price here.) I’d hate to see what a top-end Ascended would go for.
If you must have them that badly, then make your own. Buying them only serves to show of that you have more money than I do (or anyone else for that matter.)

They drop from general PvE too. Just go farm if you don’t want to craft.
You can only sell the refined ascended materials. Raw materials and weapons can’t be traded/sold.
From one of the previous Dev posts I believe they said that Ascended weapons that drop from mobs are not bound…I may be wrong.
