this year i was so excited to play the 2nd heloween event cuz i like the stiry, and wen it ended i wanted to know whats going to happend between the mad father and the mad son…..but we have execly the same thing……..it looks like as time goes by Anet puts less effort for the people, 1st haloween we had a cutsence wehre the mad king jumped out of the lion statue and made a black hole and a dungeon inside………karka event! it came to LA and run away to southsun and we followed it and then the main event could take about 2 hours!!!!…..and now what we have…….why why? you want more money? i will pay, just give me a reson

Yes, how dare they do exactly what they told us they would do?

Seasonal events in the Guild Wars series have always been more or less the same year after year.

Wintersday 2012 was more or less identical to Wintersday 2013 in GW2 as well.

As for one time events: They removed those simply because it didn’t work.
Mainly due to extreme lags but also due to the fact that some people would be unable to actually do them due to time-zone differences.
