if it was exactly like the halloween one, would you still be excited?

There will be a holiday event at Christmas time, I’m sure of it. It’s called Wintersday in Tyria. And I’m incredibly excited for it :-) Even if it’s very similar to how the Halloween event is, because I love the Halloween event as well!

“Christmas” in Tyria is called Wintersday. It’s a big event in GW1, so I would be very surprised to not see it return in GW2.

Well I don’t know if you bought the keys for real money of in game money but you should know that it was a gamble from the very first beginning.

Second of all, why didn’t you wait a few days to see what is really going on? I was excited about that too but I read all over this forum on what was happening and I didn’t even spend in game money on the keys. After all, did the halloween even suck just because you didn’t get the skin? You know that there are quests (more to come) to do, it’s not all about the chest, after all, the skin price is dropping .

I’m actually more excited for a Wintersday event than I am about this Halloween event. I just like snow and christmas :P The way they’ve redecorated Lion’s Arch for this event is pretty impressive and I’m so looking forward to a Wintersday redecoration!

But I couldn’t really care less about the silly black lion chests and keys. I’m just not really into gambling Hopefully they’ll analyze how stuff was implemented/handled/received in this event and do some things differently.

Yes, most definitely. Anet has always done events like this. There will probably be one for US thanksgiving too

It’s a holiday that pits Grenth’s minions against Dwayna’s minions.
So who knows if that’ll continue since the gods are out to lunch.
