How are some people’s legendary effects appearing in the JP?

I know it’s only a few legendaries that works in there

It happens to me and I don’t know why either.

I have The Dreamer and even though the weapon is invisible I still get the glowing arms and the rainbow trail (but I don’t think the footsteps show up). The really weird part is after I complete the puzzle the glow will disappear from just 1 arm.

I think it’s because when you’re loading in there’s a split second between entering the map and your skills and weapons being hidden and in that time you draw your weapon and the effect appears. But I don’t know why it only happens with some legendaries and not others.

Yeah, I can confirm you definitely draw your weapon. You can hear it when a new instance opens, the sound of 10 sword blades clinging as the cinematic starts!
