Guild Wars 2

so i bought the winter thingy outfit, got a toy w it, but unlike other toys the skill 5 (the toy summon stuff) doesnt work like the other toy summons(bat,cat,etc(from broom, prince staff,etc)) , am i doing smth wrong or is it supposed to just explode right away? (if yes, the explosion animation is rly lame ): )

Summons a Toy Soldier that explodes after a couple of seconds.
Using this skill will start Costume Brawl, unlike skills such as Summon Skeleton.
This skill cannot be used if the player has started Costume Brawl; they must first Time Out in order to use this skill.
