this is not a very good system imo. some weeks you get opponents 10 ranks below you and enjoy strong buffs. some weeks the reverse happens and you get almost nothing. every single time you’re much weaker on friday evenings than friday mornings.

maybe incentivizing being on top of the ladder more should be the way to go.(would require additional tweaks however)

lowering the effects might also help.

why should i appreciate content being easier sometimes than others?XD

Think of it this way, the baseline is when you don’t have any buffs at all, you do better in wvw, you profit more. It’s not that it’s getting harder, it’s just gettin easier the better to do

we should not have cyclical buffs period.

ps the game is easy enough as is.
