Anet has most likely been holding back all the armor sets they’ve developed in the 9 month period you mentioned for the expansion.

I bet people who say “if i cannot mix and match, i won’t buy it no matter how good it looks” are those i see with terribly mismatched creations that make them unique at least.

Id rather anet add outfits to the gemstore and armor skins in game to earn. Which they are doing with HOT expac, so no problems here.

No personal touch= dont care

Only 4 colour slots= dont care

Cant even have the headgear as a standalone skin\mixable with my armor= dont care

I play a game with a wardrobe for skins and the freedom to mix em as i kittening please (within the weight class obviosly)
.i however start to question why we even got such an extensive skin collection in the bank to display and a fantastic way to replace skins when we barely get new material to work with…or the 3 weight classes or class “theme” in general.

^^this

I enjoy outfits. I would rather that they continue to add armors to the GAME and outfits to the GEMSTORE.

Yes, my Sylvari’s hair clips through, but it clips through most things, so do my Asura’s ears but I rarely wear head pieces. My only wish is that I could not show the shoulders like I can not show the helm.

No, I would rather pay for armor sets than be forced to play content I don’t like in order to earn them.
I def agree with the shoulder wish though. Right now, I have swans on my shoulders…….. >.>
I bought the outfit only bcs I was desperate for a new look :/

I personally love outfits, they allow me to have two looks on my character.

I never wear Outfits, and I have hundreds of looks for my characters.

Mix ‘n’ Match is where it’s at, Baby! Some of the Outfits look really great, but I will never buy one because I don’t care to look exactly like everyone else.

(And no, I don’t use tons of transmutation charges. Only rarely. The introduction of the wardrobe changed nothing for me. I always had and always will have multiple armor pieces available for each of my characters. Sure, it takes a little storage space. But as often as I change my looks, it beats the hell out of buying transmutation charges all the time.)
