I buy $10/mo in gems, every month, as my way of supporting the game and saving for fun things. At these price points with the increased availability of fun things (and I see a storm of clothes coming), I’m almost out of gems, and don’t really have much more bandwidth than $10/mo I can go on this.

I got it, I’m down to 1200 gems and I want the sickle, and I just bought my $10/mo of gems on the 20th. Which means next week they will have more cute pets and new outfits pieces. Evil.

I can’t decide if I have buyers remorse or not? It’s cute, that’s not debatable, but it’s about as big as the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man. I think I still favor the Lion Cub, especially since I have a bit of a Joy Adamson thing happening with my civilian outfit. I’ll probably will monster kitty to my Mesmer, who I sadly don’t play much (struggling a bit in my mid 30s).

The cat is cute, and I will more than likely buy it, but it saddens me that like the new sickle this is a another gem shop item that had no effort put into it. It has the same animations as ranger pets. While the animations may seem typical for the pets rangers have, for a kitten the animations just look weird. Would have been nice to see at the least something like the number 4 skill on the Cat mystery tonic be one of the animations for the kitten.

It is indeed a chubby kitty but I love it. For some reason I never expected it to have a ribbon even though the picture showed one. :P

OMG I want one! Probably won’t be able to get one…. I don’t get paid until Friday. =(

All this cute, fluffy stuff isn’t to my liking, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

wtf… why is the mini bear to tiny? & the hideous kitten so huge? Have to say…. the cats in this game are pretty ugly..

I have to agree. The cat looks slightly deranged. Disturbed more than cute.

I was taken aback by the size. It’s knee high to my sylvari. Maybe I was imagining something like WoW’s white kitten which is, y’know, kitten sized. I really did want a little ball of white fluff, not a bruiser that could eat some dogs for lunch.
