It is an odd phrasing… It would imply that no they are not, but that doesn’t seem right either…

There is character MF (seen by looking at the equipment screen) and Account MF (seen by looking at the achievement screen). Since they specifically say account MF then I would guess that boosters and food don’t work on the envelops.

I just turned on the game to do some farming and saw a new patch. A festival!

Farming can wait.

Boosters add to your accound magic find. They are not seperate.

Its not a new festival, its just a recycled old one with new rewards and the same old kittenty mechanics to obtain the stuff.
There is still the same problem with leechers and feeders and on top of that the losing team gets nothing which makes it almost impossible for many players to receive any rewards.
Great job Anet, you made another good example how a bad festival is created.

The few matches Ive done today have been much more fun than the last time it was around, thanks to the lack of the exploit farmers in the matches .

Boosters add to your accound magic find. They are not seperate.

Actually only magic find from Luck and Achievement rewards are account bonuses.

The rest of the magic find comes from personal sources, zone-specific or time-specific sources.

Now, I haven’t seen any official definition of what Anet means when they write “account magic find”.

My guess would be that it only is the luck and acheivement magic find they mean.

My bigger issue is that Anet has soured me about the game on the whole so something like this isn’t even enough to get me excited for playing the game.
