I am really getting tired of bleeding money left and right when I run to an event only to hit an overflow. These bus rides arn’t cheap and telling me its full AFTER I port is pretty stupid.

On the subject of awesome coding… grats on allowing us to type in topic titles longer then the board allows. Shall I teach you the basics of programming now? maybe some visual basic or java?

I have an idea: every person from the server who waypoints in and hits overflow, the cost of their travel gets deducted from each and every guest and given to the overflowee.

So if the cost is 1s, and there are 30 guests, the server native gets 30s – his 1s travel = 29s!

Nope, gotta farm that stuff. How else am I gonna run 6 chars through the events

I totally agree, it should tell you that you will be entering overflow BEFORE it charges you and then give you a prompt so you can select a stay where you are or go anyways option.

The current setup is like the OP said is literally stealing money from us.

You can get world chests from guesting, but only if you haven’t gotten one yet.

So basically let’s say all 3 dragon events are running back to back. I run all 3 on my home server for the chests on my main character. Alright, done, but now I want the chests on my alt the dragons aren’t spawning for hours. I’ll guest with my alt to get the chests for him.

Actually those bus rides are incredibly cheap . Sounds like you’re just lookin for somthin to complain about to me .

Why is it relevant whether it’s cheap or not? I’ll gladly pay any waypoint cost as long as it gets me where I wanted, in the server I am playing on. However, I don’t fancy paying to travel to a waypoint only to have a pop-up saying I’ve traveled to an overflow.

The only job of a waypoint is to get you from point a to point B overflow or not and thats exactly what it does . its not like you cant make back the cost in 2 seconds anyway or that events wont spawn in an overflow . Take a chill pill and fins somthing to do there like kill

I don’t know what you thought when you were asked to pick a server, but I personally picked it under the assumption that I’d be playing on whatever server I picked. Whether you paid 1s or 5s or even 50s to travel to that point, you should get where you wanted on your server or be prompted that you’d end up in an overflow. Personally I don’t have a problem, it’s pretty quiet in the mornings and such.

OP has a point. You should be told that you’re going to enter an overflow before you teleport there.

Adine, you must be rich. Some of us are not. A 4 silver port takes a couple events to make up. And since I am usually shredding rares, that leaves blues and greens to make up any profit. Those are small profits. Worse if I am there for an event that does not yield loot.

I’d hardly call myself rich , most gold i make gets burned after its made stating up the 80s i have . However its not exactly hard to make back the silver i used to hop to a place and I rarely spend 4 silver to go anywhere. Repairs are my biggest cost not waypoints and that’s only because i wait till most of its damaged or 1 beaks before i repair .
