A Few Questions
A:
We don’t know if Druid has shapeshifting ability at this time. It likely won’t be anything like the WoW shift, even if it does. Additionally, considering we can easily swap our specialization lines when out of combat, there isn’t a “need” to have 2 rangers unless you desire to do so for the enjoyment of it.
Ranger is speculated to be the next elite specialization revealed, so potentially next week. (We’re pretty certain its not this week based on the twitter comment)
The black wings will return eventually, we have no idea when.
Guild Wars druids are nothing like WoW druids. Don’t expect shapeshifting. All they did that is close to that is they shed their human forms and became like Treants. Reveal will be soon. Probably not this week, but probably before the month is out. The black wings will come back, but don’t hold your breath. It will be months.
I know you can easily swap specialization lines but my ranger is a Sylvari and looks more like a ranger than a druid which is why I wanted to make a new one for the druid class, a Norm
Well … I wouldn’t discard druids as shapeshifter, not because WoW’s druid, but because D&D’s druid. ANet seems to get some influences from D&D and our Guardian is the strongest reference from there, Guardian is pretty much exactly what a Cleric is there, so imagine that they can do it again wouldn’t be so absurd.
EDIT: Also Tempest (elementalist elite) is a D&D prestige class.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)

At this point, I wouldn’t plan on shapeshifting.
I know it has been said that one of the elite specs will give the class a break bar, which I believe also means giving them a transform. However, we’re talking things like Tornado, Rampage, and Lich Form. All are very short lived and have long cool downs. Nothing like the WoW shifting (I enjoyed prowling around as a cat as a Feral Druid too, always got my butt kicked in pvp though).
Of the classes that don’t have an elite transform (Guardian (which was already announced so we can rule it out), Ranger, and Thief) I would think Ranger would be the most likely candidate if indeed a transform is part of the break bar.
