As the title states, I have a few questions about HoT.

1: Will we be able to level our Central Tyria Masteries in Dungeons?

2: Will we be able to level up our Masteries (both Central Tyria and Heart of Maguuma) in story instances?

3: Will Dry Top and Silverwastes count as Central Tyria or Heart of Maguuma when it comes to Masteries?

4: Will LS Season 2 Complete Pack ever be bundled with Heart of Thorns? It would make sense, seeming as HoT takes place after LS S2, plus it might boost sales a little. I personally know a few friends who are holding off on buying HoT simply because they can’t currently get LS S2 and don’t want the story to be spoiled for them.

5: If I were to buy the HoT Digital Deluxe Upgrade with gems, would my items be delivered on my next login or would they still be subject to the same weekly-basis delivery that just buying the regular version is subject to?

They can just play the story instances for free with someone who has LS2 unlocked. They won’t get any rewards though. Alternatively they can trade gold for gems to buy LS2.

I think it’s unlikely that LS2 will ever be bundled with HoT since people who had LS2 before buying HoT will feel cheated.

5. There is no weekly delivery schedule for the bonus items that come with the Deluxe Edition. (The only weekly distribution was for the bonus character slot, which you would have received at pre-purchase if qualified.) Thus, you would receive the items immediately (at next log-in).

Not sure about the others, but it has been stated in the past that XP gain will apply to Mastery lines; I don’t know why they would leave out certain areas of XP gain.

3) [Dry Top and Silverwastes] I doubt anyone knows for sure but when you consider that Dry Top and Silverwastes were released long before the expansion and that they are accessible to non HoT players, then it’s most likely those two maps are Tryian Masteries

2) Yes, in the respective “zones” Personal Story for Tyria and LWS3 for HoT. Mastery’s will automatically swap between the zones and level your selected mastery for that zone. In other words you can have two masterys selected at one time but are able to level only one at a time.

3) Dry Top and Silverwastes earn XP as part of Tyria in BWE’s and are their own region of Maguuma Wastes. See Region

4) No, Living World Seasons are essentially their own items and can be earned (or have been) for free by logging in during each episodes two week release. After that they are purchased from Gems.

5) Items will be delivered at next login except for the additional veteran character slot if you qualify. That might take more time.
