A Fungus Among Us - Cap Hop Flop
That skill behaves really really unreliable for me too. You really have to be extra careful to set your groundtarget perfectly, or it just wont work at all.
You must wait for the initial leap to end before using the jump skill.
Believe it or not – but I kinda know that already Still doesnt always work. Like… most of the time doesnt work.
So, it seems to be VERY latency sensitive. AND you have to HOLD the second part of skill 2, at least I have to.
Still, about 50% of the time, skill just doesnt work at all, either jumping only a tiny bit up or simply not firing at all.
Oh, so that’s why I couldn’t really figure out the purpose of that skill, aside from being a massive waste of time.
Luckily, you don’t need it at all to do the adventure.
This is still a problem it seems- tried today for daily and the Cap Hop failed in every respect
Yes, this skill is annoyingly latency sensitive. I had to abandon half of my attempts at Gold due to Cap Hop either:
1. Hopping in one place – no forward movement
2. Houston, we have NO liftoff – after hopping forward, the 2nd skill does not become available. This happens primarily just after the second checkpoint, where many players hop across the large gap to bypass jumping along the branches, and also at the penultimate checkpoint, where players jump across to the final checkpoint.
I did finally get Gold after maybe about 20 attempts (although bearing in mind I’d done at least 50+ attempts in the old days and only ever managed Silver), but I think this adventure could do with maybe another 5 seconds of time to give a bit more leeway to us players who are stuck with mid-high latency.
I gave up on the daily achievement for that adventure because of that skill still not working correctly. Probably the only adventure that I dislike.
I think it’s bogus that you only got a second or two to used the launch skill. I can never really know the max range I can launch myself to since I’m panicking to move to any spot asap before the launch skill dissapear!

Skill 1 was annoyingly all over the place too- I had more chance using neither of the skills. After approx. 60 attempts, I failed to even finish it.

Oh wow, thanks! I have no idea why this isn’t tick in the first place since there is no benefit on founding out your aoe is red cos it’s too far.
