I think it would be quite cool if they made exalted playable, but then made a proffession only playable as exalteds and as an exalted you have to play that class. You would be able to channel the magic stored in you. It would use a system a bit like the thieves initiative, but with magic. You have to agree, race specific proffessions would be cool!

They already struggle to take care of five races.
No more race should be added before they became able to.

How would exalted wear any of the existing armor sets? To be honest, it may just be better to do a combat transformation tonic so you can fight with the appearance of one.

U do know that exalted were made by GLint and shes dead as i recall, so no new exated are born.

The OPs request goes against Anets design philosophy for GW2. Playing one race shouldn’t give you an advantage over another. The OP is asking Anet to design a super race here that would destroy game balance totally.

Wouldn’t be a profession, but could possibly be made a race skill. Technically the revenant already channels magic, though… so not sure what kind of difference you mean. But hey, the exalted can’t be made a race until the tengu have been… which still seems to be a long way off, even though the tengu have a capital and meshes all set up and ready to go.
