Since there will be new boon, resistance, that blocks condition damage. So the question is: will it block retaliation damage as well? If not, please make a boon that does that. Engies and eles should find it really handy.

Retal is what keeps aoe spam from occuring. I rather think it needs to stay.

You’re speaking as if everyone would then have Resistance up 24/7 in a zerg, which probably isn’t going to be a case, as that would alone kill any remaining condition builds from WvW.

Yes it should block retaliation, too. I’m assuming it will be rare enough so that it can be used offensively to deliver a burst.
