Anyone else noticed that the amount of Aurillium produced by multiloot has dropped a bit?

I used to be pretty much self-sustaining in Exalted Keys but now they seem to be gradually decreasing.

If it is a subtle nerf then I applaud it. It will encourage (force?) players like me to do more events before each ML.

There are all sorts of variables involved in determining how much aurillium you get and it seems very unlikely that they would have tweaked them during the last month, when they try to keep changes to a minimum so staff can take a well-deserved break before starting up their intense pace again.

Before I believe that there’s a been a change, I’d like to see numbers on how much aurillium you received per assault ‘before’ and ‘after’. I’d like to know if you save bags to open on another toon and how many maps you loot per multi attempt.

Put another way, I’m not sure you’ve noticed anything other than a combination of RNG + changes in your own behavior (that you made so gradually as to not realize the impact on auri-acquisition).

I don’t keep accurate records of this stuff which is why I’m asking if anyone else has noticed the same thing.

In fact, I’ve never really paid attention to where the keys and aurillium come from. All I know is that after sorting through the spoils of an ML and spending all my aurillium on keys I would typically have around the same number of keys I started with (100, give or take), some from the vendor, some from the loot. Over the last couple of weeks it has gradually dwindled to 60 keys and I don’t think my ML habits have changed. I know that the devs are looking for a way to discourage the ML without killing the meta and slightly reducing the key supply would do just that.

Hence the question…

People are demonstrably bad at remembering their habits, which is why it’s important to document observations before speculating based on one’s memory.

Which is why I am asking the question of other players. That’s what forums are for.
BTW, do you even multiloot?

I’ve never found ABML to be self-sustaining, aurillium → key purchase, generally speaking. I’ve always needed to supplement my aurillium income via minor pillar farming.

Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.

i think they should buff the rewards in ab once they fix the ml simply nerfing it to hell and keeping the multiloot would be bad design i prefer doing 1 run and getting good rewards once per 2 hours rather than 14 in 2 hours
