Guild Wars 2

Hi all,

I have a MacBook Pro with a 250GB SSD (Solid State Drive).

Due to limited disk space, I am very curious (and worried) about how much disk space Heart of Thorns will take up.

Does anyone know about how much disk space this update will be? I do have GW2 installed, but now am concerned about how much more disk space the expansion will utilize.

No one has a clue. No one even knows how many maps it will be. You’ll have to wait till it’s released and ask again on the forum.

keep in mind that those parts involved with the beta, are allready in the dat-file and possibly much more.

Will SW & DT be included in the map count? Because they are considered Maguuma Wastes

Uh, no? At least not in the “new maps” count. They aren’t new maps added with HoT, we already have them.

I would expect 27-30gb from Gw2 and 40g in future when more expansion have been loaded into the game.

Between a Megabyte and a Terabyte, give or take a gig or two.
