Will the new legendaries require mystic clovers?

Official answer is no one knows yet. After all, each legendary has it’s own components alongside the standard components.

However, feel free to speculate from this:

“The Mystic Tribute is a new version of the Gift of Fortune and contains a greater variety of trophies and mystic objects than the Gift of Fortune. That is particularly true of the trophies that will be required for it.”

If it doesn’t require an element of gambling with the mystic toilet, can it really be called a legendary weapon?

Well, they are introducing a feature that allows you to salvage your Gift of Fortune for a 100% return on all the materials you used to make it. This is because, those same materials will be used to also make the new gifts for the new legendary weapons.

So going off of that, and how the Gift of Fortunes uses 77 Mystic Clovers, there is probably a high chance that the new ones will require them as well, since they went through the trouble of making this new feature to salvage the old Gift of Fortunes.

But it’s all just speculation. Take it for what you will.

I don’t believe they ever said 100%

I am betting it will be closer to 70% with some rng factor.

They won’t say anything on this matter because it would effect the mystic coin and ecto markets.

Will probably need anything mystic, like the mystic cores, essences, frames, nexus etc form the ecto gambler.

They did. It was in the Guild Chat, episode 19. They clearly state you’ll get 100% return on the mats you used to create it.
