I’m confused, I bought the Ultimate upgrade for Heart of Thorns. On the character screen, I have a slot that is listed as “Beta”…. Created a character that starts at level 1. On the character screen there is still an open “beta” spot but it will not let me create anything new.

I’m confused if I am actually playing in the beta when I’ve created a character from that screen. How can I tell?

No you are not. Pre-purchasing provides you with access to the upcoming beta weekends (none of which have been announced yet). These will most likely work in the same way that the previous PvE betas worked in that the slots will not activate until the events start.

Ok it is confusing on the screen where you have the slot that says “Beta” and to “Create” a character from that.
You know, it does appear to be active on that screen anyway but nothing after that does….oh well guess I will just wait for more news.

I have my revenant still there from the last beta but it’s not available to play since there’s no beta going on. I wouldn’t do anything with that beta slot until the next beta opens.

This will only be available to use when there is a beta event going on. I don’t think there is a beta even at this time so you will not be able to use that yet.

I got into first beta and once the beta event started I was able to use the beta slot to make a character and play during the beta event.

After the beta was done I still had the beta slot but could not use it. When the next beta came out, which I didn’t get into, my beta slot disappeared.

Dude its not Beta,its Betaweekends.

Basically u are not allowed to join beta servers till there si an actuall beta event,servers arent open 24/7 .

At the end you will get like 2 days x event to play.
