Airship Parts from Verdant Brink
It depends on what tier you got during the day and night, the higher the tier, the more crowbar you will get. Airship cargo can give you 25 airship parts if you are lucky, and if you kill lots of mobs you should have a lot of nuhoch hunting stash (nuhoch mastery 1) that can give you 105 airship parts (?), again, only if you are lucky, normally they only give 5. I think killing bosses at night also gives you some airship parts. At the end, it’s a matter of your luck. If you’re unlucky, then yes it’s really slow.
You are doing something horribly wrong. I find I get 300-500 airship parts per day/night cycle. It depends slightly on luck, but I rarely get less than 300 per cycle.
The parts are contained in the airship cargo that you use crowbars to open. You can generally open 50-75 of these per cycle and they contain a minimum of 3 parts per cargo. The chance for 25 parts is also pretty significant with about a 1 in 10 chance of getting 25 parts.
Make sure you are opening as many of these as possible.
There are also Large versions of those airship cargos that can give you 50 airship parts. I’ve found one near the Itzel poison inside that big tree that gave me 50 + 3 bits flew off the cargo giving me another 3 per those for 59 from a single Large Airship Cargo.
It’s meant to be grindy, otherwise you would be finished with the 4 maps too quickly.
As i recall the larger crates have a different description before opening. If you focus on the meta events you will get plenty of crowbars. I just open any cargo I see and it will add up in the course of events.
You will also get parts out of the awarded chests time to time. I wanted to get Rune of Thorns and focused on opening cargo and found it “seemed” slower , the old watched kettle never boils thing. Once that no longer the goal and I open cargo just in the course of events they “seem” to come in faster
Yesterday in about 3 cycles of Auric Basin I got ~900 of that map’s currency, net, which means I got slightly more than that because I remember spending some here and there.
I find VB to be the easiest map currency to get. If you think this is bad, enjoy the ley-line crystal currency from Tangled Depths.
Just that TD has barely any Note worthy items to exchange for the currency.
I agree with OP airship parts are a drag to get.
Airship Parts and Crowbars are so simple to get that I dont even.
Seriously a day/night cycle provides you with a few hundred airship parts and a bunch more crowbars, so many in fact that I have never run out of them and have 1.5k Airship Parts and VB is my least run map. The currency here practically falls into my lap so I have no idea what OP is doing.
Hm, there are these stashes as well … if you have that mastery you might not even notice those that can give 100+ … drowning in airship parts myself but mainly because of those stashes.
Honestly, I get all my airship parts while trying to get rid of crowbars that seem to spontaneously generate in my inventory bags. :/
I agree it is grindy, I have done all 4 maps fully completed 5 times already. I have also unlocked 3 full ascended weapons along with most of the parts for the rest of them. If I play in one of the other maps, and I do the full cycle of events, I get rewarded with tokens. AB has become a problem, as I have been running this through T3 to T4 then night and not and back to T1, and not getting rewarded with any airship parts. I do understand the principles and way it works, but thank you for the answers.
