So there’s one Mesmer already rocking the new specialty. Alexandra Duet has been sparing with heroes using her sword-&-shield Mesmer-moves since the Pact first got to Orr, mocking the rest of us mesmers with her shieldy shieldness of shieldery.

Well no more.

I’m unlocking shields for my mesmers, and then I’m going back to her little Order of Whispers hidey-hole and sticking my tongue out at her. SO THERE!

Hopefully we will get a 2nd pistol so one our illusions makes actual sense.

you realize that that phantasms don’t necessarily weild the same weapon that summond them?
for example, staff’s phantasm actually weilds a scepter, and focus’ weilds axe… etc.

AND – Phantasmal defender wields a shield, regardless of what weapons the mesmer has. So in a way, mesmers always had access to a shield!

i can already do that with sticks and the sun…surely there are better ways of figuring out the time
