2. Reaper
Decent Tier:
3. Herald
4. Scrapper
5. Druid
Crap Tier:
6. Daredevil
7. Berserker
8. Tempest
9. Dragonhunter

Let me give my rationale for each choice:
1. Chronomancer - Alacrity and Continuum split. ’Nuff said.
2. Reaper - Reaper Shroud is bomb, and Robert Gee has significantly improved the greatsword skills.
3. Herald - Boon sharing makes this one a good team fighter.
4. Scrapper - We haven’t gotten a chance to test it, but the function gyro could be a game-changer.
5. Druid - Depending on how powerful the heals are, this could be promising. Some of the glyphs seem decent.
6. Daredevil - You can’t go wrong with an extra dodge and a 10-second block, but otherwise, this one doesn’t bring much to the table offensively.
7. Berserker - The primal bursts are mediocre and Warrior build diversity is so bad that taking Berserker means giving up a more valuable traitline.
8. Tempest - Underwhelming Overload mechanic doesn’t do anything Elementalist can’t already do, and better.
9. Dragonhunter - Traps are a non-starter in sPvP, and the longbow skills are disappointing.

I haven’t played all of them but this is just my opinion. (This is from a PvP standpoint)
Very Strong:
1. Chronomancer-Lots of slow, alacrity, continuum split
2. Reaper- Very strong AoE cleave damage, useful in fights
Good:
3.Druid- Haven’t seen what this can do in an actual game yet but I see this as being very good support for teams.
4.Herald- Offers decent support and can keep damage while doing so with Sword/Shield.
5.Scrapper- Looks like decent damage and Gyros look pretty strong
6. Daredevil- Good teamfighter due to AoE cleave and weakness along with elite skill, Good 1v1er due to CC, evades, and damage.
Lackluster:
7. Tempest: While it’s still an ele, shouts don’t look very good and overload doesn’t look that good.
8.Berserker: Actually haven’t seen much of this at all but I’d put it at the same level of Tempest; It’s still a warrior but the Berserker aspect doesn’t seem like something worth taking. Not sure tho, because I haven’t seen any of this really.
9. Dragonhunter: Damage is decent but traps don’t really have much place in PvP, except maybe the elite trap.

1. Chrono – shatter mes is already strong and this just straight up buffs it in so many ways. Moa is basicly a death sentence. Double moa stealth opener will win you 9/10 fights and with so much alacrity the 3rd and 4th moa are way under 180s. Add slow, clone/phantasam generation, alacrity basicly being a huge buff for every mesmer skill from shatters to heal, from stealth to portal. maybe add wells and shield too (i dont know what they do), its gonna be sick.
2 & 3 – Herald and Reaper – great specs, bring a lot to the table for pvp, will definitly see lots of play.
4. Druid – we havent seen druid in combat yet, its not finished and it still didnt have a balance pass, so this is more hopefull thinking. But after years ranger could finally have a true viable build. Im thinking DPS spec with lots (relativly speaking) of heals, so it finally can do something unique and be a true alternative for other dps builds that always bring more to the table then the ranger.
Scrapper, beserker, dragonhunter – i dont know what their skills/traits do, didnt really pay attention to their development so dunno.
Tempest – looks good, but its impossible to design a class/build stronger then current d/d ele. Might be great but will certainly be weaker then meta^2 ele, just like all other classes/builds are.
9. Daredevil – too weak. Doesnt really bring anything useful. Staff is terrible – its a thief with no stealth, no evasion, no sustain, no utility and weak dmg. Traitline is good but not good enough. I think the thief is stuck with d/p role and that build is weaker if it drops one of the curent specs for DD.
DD does help p/p and even S/X, but not enough for those builds to be viable in pvp.

Well its difficult since we have to account for the base classes to make this “tier list”.
I think tiers are stupid and unneccessary considering we have 9 classes, unlike something like competitive pokemon that needs tiers for 720 pokemon to each have their niche.
Anyways I can see chronomancer, reaper, herald, and scrapper all having potential very strong builds for reasons that should be obvious by now. Druid may have potential, while Daredevil, Dragonhunter, Tempest, and Berserker have all of their identities overshadowed by generally more solid pvp builds using base class traits.

i said i dont know
i mean i saw the reveal and know generally what they get, but i havent gone through the details enough to judge how good they will be in pvp. Like em both from design perspective. 9 specs is too many to keep track off
. i follow ranger, daredevil, reaper and revenant, will learn about the others when the development is finished.
