All Of This Is Driving Me Crazy
They just released two days worth of info on guild halls. People are fixated at the moment. I hope it turns into something worth reading soon as well, but the forums have not been worth participating in for me for quite a while now.
On the weekend?
I think you’d have an easier time asking them to plan a manned mission to the sun.
On another note, have they said that we’re getting raids?
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.

No they have not
I wish this just so it will hopefully get the crazies here in these forums to get their pants off their heads.
Just a note: A-net could not list a price lower than $50. Unfortunate, but so it goes.

- character slots.
- separate keys for HoT and GW2.
- more bag/bank slots
- various in-game items
any of these would have gone a long way to appeasing people, and at almost no real cost to Anet. (sure, they won’t have as many people buying gems for these things, but compared to the various levels of boycott and loss of trust, I think it would’ve been the more profitable decision)
they don’t need to price it below $50. they need to show the players the value them, and when they can do that at almost no cost, not doing so is just bad business. (it is significantly easier to keep a customer than to gain one)

I can agree on the character slot (for sure) and maaaaayyyyybee the bank slots (pushing it).

Except that only a minority of players care for the sorry excuse of content which is called Guild Halls.

You’ve conducted a survey?

I’m not saying they should have offered all of these, but any one would have helped.

I would have been interessed if I wasn’t so kittened.

Same. I’m interested in the various bits of information we’re getting, but I’m more concerned about the more immediate and important issues.
There are no “Immediate and important” issues, its is just a bunch of children throwing a tantrum because they decided to let new players only have to buy HoT instead of having to buy both HoT and the core game.

even if that was the case, the PR effect alone is enough to be considered “immediate and important”
Think of it this way HOT is not $50 it’s only $16.66 for each of the as many as 3 new explorable zones included in this ripp-off also known as Living Story 3.

Because that’s all that’s in the expansion…

As a wvwer/pvper, I am going to buy the expansion just for the revenant and the elite specs because they look sweet.
