i would like to see a dual shield warrior or at least main hand shield.

O Well…

I know we already got a lot of usual slow shooting ranged staffs…

But it would have been really awesome if Revenant with staff act as a battle mage ( what I mean is… similar to how Mage class use staff in Dragon Age: Inquisition)

All I gotta say is that Mesmer shield better have some OP skills and I’m not just saying that because my main is a mesmer.

All the other classes get two handed weapons and 5 shiny new skills while the elementalists gets a mainhand and three shiny new skills. While we mesmers have to settle with an offhand that will only give us two skills so something needs to compensate.

Mesmers the eternal step child of gw2…

Or its entirely possible Mesmer’s sword or scepter have their skills replaced with 3 new skills when you become a chronomancer and poof! – 5 new weapon skills.

where do you have the elementalist sword information from?

i mean is there anything hinting at it?

I think it won’t be any weapon that ele can conjure (axe, shortbow, hammer, greatsword, shield) because it will be confusing. The sword makes the most sense for me too. I can well imagine ele using it with all elements. But it’s hard to imagine ele using pistol, s/l-bow or rifle. Mace maybe. Torch only for fire, but other elements? Ele is also the only class wich doesn’t have melee weapon. Engineer neither, but he will have melee hammer.

ele daggers are pretty much melee weapons…
even though some skills have a bit bigger range than normal melee it is still a melee weapon i would say

I don’t think so. For melee weapons the 1st slot skill is swapping between 3 skills. But for ele daggers isn’t.

That_Shaman data mined some info in game and among them he found new skills and some are elementalist sword skills.
