Am I the only one?
I’m interested in both Revenants and Specs.
I’m sure specialization info will be coming. They can’t just dump all the exciting stuff on us right off the bat and then have nothing to talk about later on.
Am I the only one that couldn’t care less about revenant and instead is very interested about specializations? We couldn’t even get a glimpse about them and this makes me really sad.
i’m also interested. I imagine that revenant was chosen to be shown first due to hype, the fact it’s just one profession instead of 8, and lastly they might also like to show the revenant spec along with the other 8 when the time comes. (doesn’t make sense the show the specialization if you don’t have a basic understanding of the core class.)

It all sounds great to me. Revenant (because I prefer heavy armor professions), guild halls, and specializations are all my favorites. The mastery system and new events in Maguuma sound nice but they aren’t my most anticipated new features.

It depends on just how much of a change specializations are compared to the original class.
- If they take the class in a different direction mechanically and they add some nice support skills? Very much so.
- If they only really give a class a new weapon that doesn’t really improve or change the class at all, and the new skills are a bit mediocre? Not so much.

Ralanost you are wrong. We all know the OP is probably the only one to ever have such a thought and we should be happy that he managed to sure his unique thoughts to the world. Stop hating on the poor poor player for sharing with us his unique and individual thoughts.

I was really excited about specialisations – especially druid – and came back to level my ranger to 80 (got bored with him in his 40s). But then they dropped the revenant bomb and now I’m barely interested in specs. Just a personal taste thing. I’m not a fan of GW2 cooldown driven combat so the revenant is right up my proverbial alley.
As for specs I’m expecting a similar media pattern to pre-launch. They’ll dribble them out one at a time, more or less evenly spaced until expansion release.
They could at least give us the names.

I’m sure each will get their time in the spotlight. Just like with the original professional reveals, it’s best to unveil one at a time and let people digest. The demo will have plenty for people to go through without them.

They didn’t reveal all of the profession names at the same time before the game’s launch. They were dribbled out over, I kid you not, 18 months.

You most certainly are not the only one! I am not in the slightest bit interested in that class I’m more interested in the changes to the Ranger, Engineer, and Thief and the changes to the combat in PVE. I’m more interested in their throwing out the Zerker meta of the game by making combat in PVE finally at long last work the way it should especially when considering the design of specs like support, and condition damage.
