So I personally found pretty tiring to craft fulgurites……..Wondering if I could craft HOT ascended like this: Craft the old ascended armors that don’t need fulgurites, then throw’em into the MF with HOT recipes, since the recipes are just exotic leveled( according to google). What do you guys think? Has anyone tried this before?

That’s how I made my Marauder Ascended set. And a good thing, too, as I’ll need all my resources to make 250 fulgurites in the imminent future ><

Since you mentioned laurels, no. You do not need the ascended recipe to change the stats on your ascended armor. What you need is the exotic recipe for the stats you want if you don’t have it already. Most of, if not all of them, are behind a newer map merchant. Sinister stat stuff being with the Siverwastes merchant, and blocked a bit by Living World Season 2, as an example. You can of course just buy the intricate gossamer insignias outright, but I get the feeling the new and four stat ones are account bound.

Anyway, all you need to do is throw the following items in the mystic forge:

Any piece of ascended armor
An intricate gossamer insignia with the stats you want
Children
Anthology of Heroes (sold by Miyami right next to the mystic forge)
5 globs of ectoplasm

Marauder & Crusader are the only ones that do not need Fulgurite actually.
