I see what you’re doing anet. It’s all smoke and mirrors, but I see what’s going on. You want us (Reaper, Tempest, Warrior, Guardian, and Ranger) in a Shouting match!

“Save yourselves” as we “Rise” to the occasion. “Nothing can save you” now that Tempest now has shouts. “Feel the burn” he/she said as even the Guardian had to “Retreat!” to prevent the wrath of “Strength of the pack!” Even the Reapers are salty and “Chilled to the bone!” as yet another class gets shouts.

Hopefully anet “Receive the Light” and doesn’t give Thief or Revenant shouts.

We’re missing:

-“Just do it”
-“What are you waiting for?”
-“Stop giving up”
and
-“Don’t let your dreams be dreams”

Revenants will get shouts and draw on the legend of Dom Joly.

Calling it now

Considering that shout skills are one of the best-supported utility skill types, with a set of armor runes offering additional condition handling – something no build can ever have enough of – for shout builds, I’d say the Tempest should be feeling positively delighted that it gets a set of shouts. Especially shouts much more potent than the Reaper’s.

Now, if you want your upcoming elite specs to have weird crap they’re never going to offer any additional support or interactions for, be my guest. Me? I won’t sass the shouts.

Thieves will probably get shouts too;

“I’m so edgy!” – apply bleed to all nearby foes
“You can’t see me!” – blind foes, go into stealth
“Hidden Ninja Strike!” – stun and crit enemies
“Yatatatatatataaaahh!” – cripple, torment, chill, burn, poison and confuse foes.
