Didn’t see anything and was wondering if anyone came across any info? Since they’re introducing new ways to get precursors, I was wondering if there were any plans on getting ascended weapons/armors apart from crafting?

Well recent Amberite and Luminecent collections offer ascended chests as a reward, so I wouldn’t be suprised if we see more of that in the future.

With more emphasis on open world content and less emphasis on instances (specifically fractals), ascended gear is actually becoming less valuable. That being said, there may actually be more migration of ascended gear to more niche areas that it’s required in. Unless you are heavily devoted to fractals it’s really okay not to want to craft it lol.

On the other hand, we’re going to be seeing the Mursaat in the expansion, so maybe sources of agony outside of fractals will make its way into the game.

But to be on topic, no, no word of any other methods to acquire ascended.
