No.
ANet may give it to you.
The reward for beta testing is that the end product ends up better.

I would certainly hope not.
Lordkrall is right. Hopefully you enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing you were listened to. I was part of the push three years ago for better chat tools for RP purposes and that still makes me happy. Revenant beta testers found a number of sludgy game play issues including lack of weapon swap and provided feedback that led to a lot of fixes.
If you’re part of the testing and feedback, you get a game closer to what you want to play. It’s like voting; if you don’t cast your ballot, you have no ground to complain about who won the election.
of course, a weekend of fun.
People don’t seem realize what beta’s in general stand for.
Like others have said, Betas are for testing by players, who then give feedback to the devs so changes will or can be made.
However, there will be fun to be had, and it’s something different to do

This. In addition, it gives you an early opportunity to enjoy new features (revenant, elite specs, masteries) and new content. I’m amazed there are people who demand/expect anything more than that.
lol, no

This, i don’t see why you would want anything more.
I get to play Revenant again. That is enough for me.

Donari, we may disagree in another thread I have, but you are spot on here… its a chance to voice your opinion and give feedback to improve the game, instead of sitting on the side lines armchair quarterbacking and picking everything apart. As stated before they have already made changes based upon the last beta we did, so they are listening to us. If you dont get in and speak up, you have no grounds to sit and complain about what the end results are… doesnt matter if its under the prepurchase or not.
think of it this way… if i have a product for sale, and i offer a preview of it to a select few customers, who am I going to cater to? the customer providing good feedback and recomendations of things to make better? or joe blow who happened to overlook said customer using the product and throws a tantrum cuz it isnt designed for him? As an businessman, I would take under advisement both people, but I would likely do the things suggested by a paying customer first, as it would be a garunteed sale and generate income. Joe Blow may make his recomendations, but never buy my product so…
