I have chemo treatments and then for a few days I do not feel all that well. With that being said, I tend to play on and off. I do really enjoy playing and am interested in the new expansion. Is there anything in the new expansion that would be accessible to a casual solo player?

I hope so, because I am also a solo player. I’m expecting to be able to gradually gain the masteries and elites and to play the story. I’ll join in with any spontaneous stuff like events and hero points but you won’t find me doing any raid stuff or PVP any time soon. I’m really looking forward to gliding!
If you have bought the expansion then dive in and see. If not then maybe play Halloween whilst the expansion stuff beds in and we’ll have a much better idea of how solo-friendly it is in a week or two.
As for all that treatment stuff – just keep on keeping on.

You have a similar play style. I think I am going to go ahead and purchase it. I do love the base game.
Thanks for the reply.

its the same play style but more challenging. Right now there are not hundreds of people in a single event, so in most cases I also played an event as solo… but I managed it (A bit hard). Tomorrow logically will have more people, because right now people still at work, etc. I am also out for a few hours, I have other stuff to do, will play again later.. lol
if you gathered xp tokens and tomes of knowledge, are not working in magumma… u have to get the xp as legit… They do work in the vanilla map, so u can unlock world achievement stuff… but not for masteries.
I already got my gliding lvl 1 and half way the mushroom thing.. I havent experienced bugs, the only thing they must improve maybe, is the AI of our allies… they dont attack str8 forwrd the enemy, the enemy must attack them first… lol The problem with that is, the enemy points at u most of the times and our allies supposed to help us, watching you die (in the story content)… lol The trick here is to lure the enemy in our allies, so they get hit by AOE and start attacking.

So it seems that the gliding skill is doable for a solo player. Cool beans! Thank you for taking the time to reply.

you will have trouble with hero points seeing as many of them require you to beat a champ in order to channel the thing
In 5 hours I managed to solo finding 3 maps, get Druid training 60% complete, unlock basic gliding, get 2/3 of 1st mushroom jumping trained, and go slightly cross-eyed. It is possible to solo a lot of the area but you will be running to avoid combat (which slows down your Mastery training. I did manage to get one of the Champion hero challenges with the help of two other players who happened by.
A lot of area is blocked until you complete some of the lore training. I am having trouble getting to Hero Challenges due to needing better gliding skills and mushroom jumping,
