Instead of use main hand attack, shall we have a skill can attack with both hand weapons?Even my warrior off hand is having a sword, but the first skill only attack with main hand weapon. Shall we have some skill like thief dual wield pistol? i think it called Unload?

While I like the idea of an offhand sword being incorporated into the autoattack, I do not think it is very high on anet’s priority list, if it is at all. Also, considering dual wield skills are supposed to be a unique mechanic of thief, I seriously doubt something like this will be added.

I suppose they could do auto attack chain, as in – first #1 would be an attack from main hand, second #1 skill use would be an offhand weapon use, and the third would be a double strike. This would however be a problem if one would equip something like a shield or torch or warhorn in the offhand so I’d say it’s a fat chance. Unless Revenant can’t equip anything else in his offhand than a dagger/sword/mace/axe…

well you can attack with both a torch and a shield so i dont see a problem with it
Edit
and warhorn would look abit wierd maybe but why not smack someone with it

I don’t think these are really a problem. A shield offhand means a shield bash, which can be a painful smack across the face; with a warhorn, it could be a deafening blast, dazing the foe; torches could either be a fiery smack or even some mystical fire attack. What’s probably more of a problem is programming it so that the chain attack will consistently check the offhand weapon and making certain the animations for these chains look OK. So I don’t see it happening, sadly, despite it being a cool idea.

Warrior axe 4 is a dual attack skill.
It would be nice to have dual axe wield auto attack chain to be
Other things that would make sense, would be to change the auto attack chains to reflect different dual wields. So with axe / sword it could be something like
#1. Chop
#2. slash (bleed), chop
#3. slash (bleed), chop (cripple), slash (bleed)
As this would be actually representative of the swinging motion of weapons and keep in tone with the main hand weapon.
Axe / Mace could be
#1. Chop
#2. Smash (vuln), chop
#3. Smash (weaken), chop, smash
Sword / axe could be
To keep in with the condition damage aspect of swords
Sword / shield would be more interesting
Shield punch is not a shield bash as having a stun in the auto attack chain is OP. It’s more along the lines of punching forwards with the edge of the shield
Sword /sword
Rangers with sword / dagger
That’s some of the ideas that I could come up with. The animations would be interesting but best of all, a system like this would open up a whole new field of builds

If anything, this would be a possibility for a thief spec, since dual skills are in their purview. I wouldn’t expect to see it on any other profession.

Exclusively for Warrior, I think it would be cool if your burst skill was defined by both main and off hand, not just main hand.

Much like the 3rd skill on thieves changes based on main hand and offhand, the autoattack should also do that for all weapon combinations of all professions that include two attack weapons.
They don’t even need to be different skills. They could just be the same skill with a different animation.

Thief has plenty of unique mechanics as it is (initiative, steal, dual wield and to a lesser extent stealth). I don’t think it would harm the profession’s flavor to let others borrow from them, especially something as fundamentally shared as using both weapons, doubly especially since every profession can by definition “dual wield” weapons and tripley especially if they don’t out right copy the thief version of dual wield.
It’d be fun if warrior did get such a specialization to, for a limited time, triggered by F2, alter his auto attack 3rd/last skill using the off hand. For example:
Sword_auto- 1. Sever Artery 2. Gash 3. Hamstring
Sword/Axe – 1. Sever Artery 2. Gash 3. Blade Curve (bounce any projectiles aimed at you to your target while slashing them)
Sword/Sword – 3. Clean the Blade (remove a condition from yourself, next attack applies torment)
Sword/mace – 3. Ringer (sundering arc attack that removes a boon from those hit)
Sword/shield – 3. Deflecting Stance (a weak strike that grants you retaliation if it connects, slide back to reduce damage by 50% for 3 sec; a leap finisher)
Sword/warhorn – 3. Cadence (a buff that slightly increases attack speed as well as grant a random boon when you receive conditions)
