So, all of us are aware that in crafting ascended armor, the real content gate isn’t the 24h cooldown on crafting materials, its the insane ammounts of cloth required to make this armor, especially how much silk it requires, but not just silk, cloth is the main material for ALL armor types, be it heavy, medium or light, it still uses twice as much cloth as other materials.

What changes with HoT? Guild Halls. With the huge inflation on cloth because of ascended crafting (made worse by the announcement that ascended gear is recomended for raids) supplying cloth to your guild might be a tall order, especially on guilds comprised of new players, who might see the price of cloth as a big obstacle to improve their guild.

The incongruence in cloth requirements (and prices) has been an issue with Ascended crafting for a long time now, and it should really be addressed before HoT launches.

I second this. Cloth being required for scribe and also every ascended armor are a pain. The only way to get them on lv80 character is rng from bags basically. We need a way to farm low level cloth on lv80 characters, they’re already too expensive already.

EDIT: not wasting karma, of course
