For a rare recipe that uses ascended materials, it’s illogical for it to cost 30 auric dust (ascended crafting material) and 30 auric slivers (rare crafting material).

The prices or numbers of items for most new crafted items in this expansion are insane. That’s just one of them.

The rarity just shows it can be used for something (like crafting legendaries.)

I think the next expansion should do something with gold and silver. I have lots of it and aren’t going to dump it because there might actually be a need for it in the future beyond leveling jewelcrafting (I got mine up to 400 in the first month the game was out since I wanted the Dreamer).
